Nancy Elmore Receives “Friend of Head Start” Award

The Virginia Head Start Association has presented its annual Friend of Head Start Award to Nancy Elmore, Region III Manager for Head Start. After her keynote address to the 2010 Conference, during which she highlighted all the good things happening in VA Head Start, she announced her retirement from Federal government in June 2010.

Nancy has been a champion for Head Start in Virginia and Region III, always putting children and families first. We will miss her, but wish her well as she begins her next big adventure!
